Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern interactions with Atlas Enterprises LLC, doing business as R&M Garage Doors (“R&M Garage Doors,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), including our website, communications, service requests, and integrations operated by or on our behalf.

By submitting information, requesting service, communicating with us, or authorizing an integration that connects R&M Garage Doors with a third-party platform, you acknowledge these Terms. Project-specific estimates, invoices, work orders, and written warranty terms may include additional conditions and will control if they conflict with these general Terms.

Services

R&M Garage Doors provides residential and commercial garage door installation, repair, maintenance, opener services, spring replacement, and related services.

Submitting a service request or receiving an initial response does not by itself create a binding agreement to perform work. Availability, scope, pricing, parts, warranties, and other project-specific conditions may be provided separately in an estimate, invoice, work order, or other agreement.

Thumbtack integration

R&M Garage Doors may use the Thumbtack API and related technology to receive and manage customer leads, service requests, messages, and communications.

When a user authorizes or communicates with R&M Garage Doors through Thumbtack, information necessary to process the inquiry may be transmitted between Thumbtack and systems operated by or on behalf of R&M Garage Doors.

Customer communications

By contacting R&M Garage Doors or requesting service, you authorize us to respond using the contact information or platform you provide, subject to applicable law and your communication preferences. This may include communications needed to answer your inquiry, coordinate an estimate or appointment, provide service updates, and follow up about completed work.

Estimates, pricing, and authorization

Initial pricing and estimates may change after inspection of the garage door, opener, hardware, property, access conditions, and related components. Taxes, disposal, special-order parts, electrical work, structural work, permits, and work outside the stated scope are included only when expressly listed.

Additional work is not part of an original estimate unless specifically included or subsequently authorized. Payment terms will be shown on the applicable estimate, invoice, receipt, or other agreement.

Appointments and access

Appointment windows may be affected by traffic, weather, emergency calls, availability of parts, previous jobs, unsafe conditions, or other circumstances. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate material scheduling changes.

The customer is responsible for providing safe and lawful access to the property and work area and for disclosing known hazards or restrictions that may affect the service.

Warranties

Any warranty applicable to a repair, product, installation, or component will be stated in the corresponding estimate, invoice, receipt, or written warranty terms. No additional warranty is created by these general Terms unless expressly stated in writing.

Third-party platforms and providers

R&M Garage Doors may use third-party platforms and technology providers to operate portions of its services. Those providers may maintain separate terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the independent availability, security, or practices of third-party platforms.

Acceptable use

You may not misuse our website, communications systems, integrations, or services; attempt unauthorized access to systems or information; submit fraudulent or unlawful information; interfere with service operation; or use our services for an unlawful purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, R&M Garage Doors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages arising solely from the use or unavailability of our website, communications systems, or third-party integrations.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, and nothing in these Terms changes any rights that apply under an executed service agreement or applicable law.

Privacy

Our collection and processing of personal information is described in the R&M Garage Doors Privacy Policy.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Updated Terms will be published on this page with a revised effective date.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
